My guess is that you are referring to the acrid smell of semen. That is normal. After masterbating, a man should clean off himself as much as possible so that the smell of semen is not noticeable.

Yeah, most guys "stink" down there after sex or masterbation. I find it smells more like latex than fish, but hey, each have their own!
It is usually not just from the masterbation act alone that the smell comes from, but rather it depends on:
1) Normal hygiene; if the guy isn't the cleanest type, then he will smell more strongly than the clean ones
2) If he sweats alot, so will the penis especially after masterbation... And the sweat will smell different down there!
3) Often when a guy masterbates and doesn't wash himself after, the lingering smell will "concentrate" while he wears his clothes, so when he takes them off, you can smell him from the other side of the room!
There are other possibilities too. Every guy is different. the PH balance / level of a guy also plays a part.

I have read that the taste of your semen depends on your diet, I'm sure the same could be for smell as well... but yeh... if the guy is unclean and does not shower and clean himself well, that cud be one of the reasons for fishy smell... better still get a cat to clean him up... lol...

The smell of semen and pre-ejaculatory fluid has often been described of as "fishy" or "ammonia-like". So, if the person doesn't clean himself up, then yeah, it's possible for him to smell "fishy".

Not usually. It does depend on what they eat usually guys that eat alot of spicy food will have more odor but its not fishy. More salty. And it can also change the color a little.
