Why do Liberals say, "We think for ourselves" yet somehow I always know what they are going to say?

I know what they are going to say because it's the same thing I heard form Jon Stewart, Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews. It's as if they are so brainwashed that they are even brainwashed into saying, "We think for ourselves."

It's because of cognitive consonance, because people's brains tend to make their internal functional states simpler by making thoughts cohesive. The libs need their stupidity to be cohesive, so that's why they support stupid conclusions with stupid premises.

Why do you care so much about the Liberals and what they say when it's evident that you don't care for them that much. Although you seem to care enough to sit and think up questions about them. very few people think for themselves. our schools purposely avoid teaching it.

when it comes down to this particular issue today, this seizing of the white house by the bush crime family, their illegal war, and their theft of our wealth and reputation and civil liberties - and our innocence in the torture of innocents - people you call liberals are saying you are brainwashed because we actual liberals (those who think) have watched for 5 years the heavy dosing of the american people with only one "side" of the issue and have been trying to correct the imbalance and save our great republic.

back when most people supported the war and i mailed out info to people that could only be found in the foreign press, lots of people who are now telling you you are brainwashed were themselves brainwashed back then.

i had people calling the police and my internet provider on me! for distributing news articles from the BBC. More importantly, peace protesters who said back then what we all know now - bush is lying about iraq and wmd - were run down by a few bush fanatics.

so, what's happened is the few thinking people in the country were, after years of effort spreading the word and a huge unhappy eye-opening from Katrina and the chaos in Iraq, finally able to get so many unthinking brainwashed types to wake up and face what was happening that they now parrot what the thinkers were saying all along. it's so obvious that bush is a gangster destroying our country that even most non-thinkers get it and can say it and try to win you over with what they think won them over - think for yourselves. don't confuse them with liberals. they're just members of the bleeding obvious party. not everyone who is sickened by the evil that is bush is liberal. hardly.

This bunch that has woken up to the bush crime family? I hope they'll stay awake, but the vast majority won't and they'll be ready to sell out our country again, the next time some clever conservative marketer turns on and shames the closeted gays in christian land, makes the public prayer jesus decried into a christian virtue, or notices a scientist talking about global warming during a record blizzard.

Like the way more than 16 Conservatives brought up Gerry Studds, Barney Frank, said Republicans were worried about gay bashing - and then the next day - every single Conservative came on here and said the exact same ***t?

But I'll bet you loooove to repeat anything Rush and Bill and Sean say.... over and over and over again until it loses it's meaning completely and just becomes more white noise bs from the right wing. Because, generally speaking, they're correct. The truth can only be written on in so many ways before you get a repeat. (which is fine, I guess. Personally, I prefer that to the sort of double-think that's spewed out by many americans)

Yes I have noticed the same thing. Maybe they take turns staying up all nite to think of what they will be saying the next day and e-mail it out to all the others first thing in the morning.
