Akram is really a good player and almost everybody likes him. He and Jaunty Rhodes are the type of guy, who have fought against their luck and proved that-
Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqder se pehle
Khuda bande se ye poche bata teri raza kia hai
Both of them are simply Great!

ahh Definitely he is, he is such a great player, n even being insuline dependant Diabetic he did n he is managing his life with such a grace .no doubt in his being role model...he ia my all time favourite player, infact cudnt see anyone like him yet .n i know there will be No Wasim Akram again....God Bless him

ABSOLUTELY YES!! hes a class act...he is a role model for sure...his life was never a bed of roses..but he survivd through the hardships..and he was th MOST consistent bowler of all time...throughout his career his average never exceeded 25 runs a wicket....whihc is a record!!! n being a sugar patient...he had 2 work ven harder...to keep himself fit...and h dis it sucesfully...and he led the side briliantly.and indeed was a superb captain....!! hes among my top 5 favorites
