Who do you think is the best actor out of these 3: Robin Williams, Tom Hanks or Dustin Hoffman?

They all do comedy and drama really well, and they're all Academy Award winners, although Robin only snatched one.

Robin Williams is a great comedian, well versatile. Tom Hanks has done some great drama as did Dustin Hoffman. Out of all the roles of the three, I would have to say Dustin is the best. He was great in "Rain Man" but good in "Hook" also with Robin Williams. Tough question. I like 'em all!

Tom Hanks has demostrated that he can do a lot of different roles, either comedy or drama.
Williams is difficult to believe in Drama and Hoffman is not gifted for comedy.
All 3 have done good movies, but the real multitasker is Tom Hanks.

Dustin Hoffman is "The Graduate", Forrest Gump could only be played by Tom Hanks. Who else can you visualize in Savannah sitting on that bench? Also, can you imagine another actor talking to "Wilson" for 21/2 hours? Robin Williams.......there will never be another one like him. I keep seeing that red nose on him in Patch Adams...........favorite is: Robin Williams.........laughter is the best medicine!

it is RARE that a person can act as CRAZY as Robin Williams is (and GREAT at it too), and then flip the switch and be totally serious, and you believe it too.

Dustin Hoffman is funny, but not as crazy as Williams. Tom Hanks can be crazy, but not AS FREAKY crazy as Williams.

Williams is either one extreme or the other...while Hanks and Hoffman are somewhere in between.
