It depends on which field... Plus it's not easy to tell... If we refer to achievments, we are more likely to refer to nations, not religions. We don't say modern democracy was introduced by Christians but Americans. Indonesian Muslims have nothing to do with Arab Muslims' achievments. People living in the same territory are closelier related than those of a religion.

Arabs connected the Far East and Europe bringing spices and other stuff. They also excelled at astronomy, medicine, mathematics, as mentioned above. Turkey was a decisive power in history, but these things mentioned above have not much to do with Islam.

They also managed to spread Islam in Africa, the Middle East and Southeastern Asia, and today 1.5 billion people are Muslims. That is quite an achievement, I guess.

At the third link you can see some of today's famous Muslims.

Muslims of the Middle East stole many of their "inventions" from the ancient Assyrians, which they had tried to convert to Islam through force but were unsuccessful. They claim to have ideas about science and algebra when many of such ideas were stolen from the Mesopotamians (Assyrians, Babylonians, Sumerians). Note that the Arab conquest of Mesopotamia led to such difficulties. This is also relevant in the Pythagorean theorem which was "claimed" to be invented by the Greek Pythagoras but was actually discovered centuries earlier in Mesopotamia. Talk about unfair.

Most notable is mathmatics and the invention of zero as a mathmatical number, but as with most cultures there is a lot more to their history. See this website.

When we say Muslims, we also think of Islam. They are very intact when it comes to their faith/religion. I think it count as an achievement.

Just recently I heard that they mastered the mechanics of certain weapons. These weapons include the following: sticks, rocks, sticks WITH rocks on them, and so on.

They also mastered the art of 'hide and seek,' considering they hide like a bunch of little girls waiting to get asked out for prom.

Also, there are rumors that they have mastered the art of 'sand castle building' since they spend 3/4 of their life hiding in the sand.

A few years ago they achieved the burning down of a school in Iraq because there were women inside learning to read and write. Way-to-go Rag Heads. =)

There are speculations going around that they aparantly have mastered the craft of 'rag wrapping' around their heads and bowing down to a superior country. They call this "prayer."

Honestly, they haven't achieved anything in my eyes.
