Years ago, G Harold Carswell (a Federal Judge, nominated by President Nixon) was arrested in a public restroom for making sexual advances to an undercover policeman, in Washington, DC. Almost twenty years later, Barney Frank was busted running a gay prostitution ring. Carswell's career was ruined, but Barney Frank was re-elected. All of the above involved underage boys. I am a liberal democrat, but the hipocrisy bothers me. Fact is, I do not care what consenting adults do behind closed doors. It is when under-age minors are involved, that bothers me. The Republicans are not hiding it, granted they said nothing about it until they were caught omitting the faults of their own party. I do not want to see it, but I do believe that the republicans will still maintain a majority in the US Legislature after the mid-term elections.
