It was in the forest that had the T Rex and the Brontosaurus. I don't remember what it was. Does anybody know of this happening to them?

Unfortunately, I don't know what the creature was. It was years ago. I had been leveling in the forest and went into battle with whatever this was. I was scared and ran away because I didn't want to lose hours of gameplay by dying. I've never seen this monster since. I remember going to a FFIII (SNES) website and seeing something mentioned about someone having the same experience, but that was also years ago. So any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

[dude! he's not talking about the zone eater thing near gogo! he's in the forest where you usually go to get lots of AP. there are also bugged copies of FFIII where you can do crazy duplication tricks in that forest]
