Hello! So, I got a GREAT deal on this cute red Cowboy hat. It's made of compressed & painted straw. The thing is, it was cheap because it's now out of season - and has a whole summer of dust & such on it from the store. I've never had a hat like this before. How do I clean it and how should I store it until next Spring when I can wear it?

a little water and a paper towel or two and it ought to be fine.
I would recommend keeping it in a cool dry place. Just so it doesn't get mildew damage. As for keeping it from getting dusty, it ought to be fine if you put it in a plastic shopping bag or any large plastic bag.

you could try using a slightly damp cloth to wipe the dust off...
as for storing it... no idea
