Happens to me all the time.
I get called white boy when in fact I'm European American!

Yeah, when I say I've got some Blackfoot and Cherokee ancestry some people think I'm lying.

ok i am cherokee and irish. but I look " white" , i dont tell ppl i am cherokee anymore,got tired of ppl telling me I am a liar. I have red hair and grey eyes, ( with some grey in my hair! lol) and so i dont look " indian" enough for some, so i dont tell them anyway.

oh definitely, this occurs with me a LOT. ive been told i look like many different ethnicities, and when i tell them mine, they just look at me and say..."noo you can't be that". just think, they're shocked by your beauty.

Yes, I tell people that i'm black, and they always say they don't believe me. They say I look Indian or Arab.
