look in the library. you'll find it on top of a bookshelf
run into the shelf to knock the book down
the library is located just south of town, to the left. it's east of the digging contest area.
i would assume you have the boots, else you can't get to the eastern palace (first pendant)

Should be in the library south of the main Town.
Its been so long, I've really forgotten all the area's names.
You SHOULD by now have the running boots, so go to that library and look for the Green Tablet looking thing (its actually a badly drawn book!! HORAY!) and just use the sprinting boots to crash into the bookshelf.

AMAZING game btw. I still hold that game in higher regaurds than N64's Ocarina of Time.

The book of mudora is in the library on top of a bookshelf but you need the pegasus boots to get it because you need to ram the book shelf
