There is an obsession on here with "Miley Cyrus" I didn't have a clue who she was. When you were 12 who was your celebrity obsession?

This is really going to show my age, but does anyone out there remember when they were 12 being obsessed with David Cassidy or Bobby Sherman. Of course back then my mother would not allow me to have posters up of Mark Spitz in his swimming trunks or Tom Jones....LOL. Over 30? Try 50.
And unless I google the name, I will still be ignorant of who Miley Cyrus is.....

My middle school obsession was with River Phoenix. He is still my all-time favorite actor! I cannot believe that this month marks the 13th year of his death:0(
BTW, the only way you would know about Miley Cyrus is if you have children that watch her on the Disney Channel (she's on "Hannah Montana"). She is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus (remember "Achy Breaky Heart"?) and he is also on the show (looking much better sans the mullet). Be glad, if you do not have to endure this show!

Miley Cyrus is 13 or 14 and she has her on t.v. show on Disney channel called Hanna Montana! I am in that age group and rite know i don't have an obsession!

At my age I didn't have a celebrity obsession. I'd like to think anyone that was obsessed with famous people at that age were growing up to becoming your average borderline celebrity stalker.
