About 2 years ago from today I had a car accident and now I'm being sued for It. I used to work at a place as a driver and the accident did happen while I was on the clock and I was covered by the Companie's insurance. The guy I rear crashed is suing me and the company, but the citation got to me first and I don't know if it also the company I used to work for, got it too. I was 20 years old at the time of the incident so I didn't know what to do so I let the company handle It. I really need advice now because I don't want to pay any money out of my pocket because I don't think I deserve due to the fact that the case is a big theater from the plantiff because he's faking injuries and worse case escenario I will get my insurance to pay for me. Either way I don't know where to start I need a really good advice. I got the 30 day notice citation thingy so I have no time to waste. Thank you for your input and for your time.

you should trust no advice except from a attorney in the accident practice.

Contact your insurance company NOW. They will hire an attorney to defend you. If you don't get the feeling they are going to do anything then you better hire an attorney immediately. Keep in mind that they are going to go for the "deep pocket" ie. the person who has the most money. If you were in fact covered by the company's insurance then they are probably going to be going after the company since they have a better ability to pay than you do UNLESS you are very well off and they know it. DON'T assume that the company's insurance is going to look after you...they very well may try to SHIFT THE BLAME and hang you out to dry. if you have your own insurance then CONTACT THEM as soon as possible so that they can defend YOU ... remember they are your insurance company so it is their job to protect YOU!

Good luck.
