Does unlimited Text messaging mean you don't have to pay that 10 cent charge thing per text message?

So, I don't have to pay extra per message if I have unlimited text?

Unlimited means just that....unlimited! the 10 cent per text either in or out is usually when you didn't purchase any texting plan with your phone.
addendum: No you do not have to pay extra if you have either purchased or included in your phone plan "unlimited" texting. Right now I have 250 text/pictures for $5.00 a month on my plan. I don't do much texting. So if I go over the 250, then I would pay 10 cents per text for sending and receiving but again that is if I go over the 250 text/pictures. Now for, I believe $15 a month I get unlimited. Don't really need it so I don't spend the money. Also on my phone plan, if I use Yahoo Messenger, AOL, or MSN Messenger for each text in or out it pulls from my 250 that I already pay for per month. And if I utilize all 250 then I pay the rate of 10 cents for sending and receiving just like the standard text messenging from phone to phone. If I had unlimited I wouldn't have to worry at all.

It depends on the plan. Usually an extra $19 a month will give you unlimited texts. If not you might have something like 300 free texts and its 5 to 10 cents after that.

Thats right unlimited means that you can text as much as you want. You should be paying a flat fee for the unlimited texts.

Would you pay for texting when you can talk personally by phone line?i dont understand it.
