Any trade that fills a need can be considered a good one. David Carr so far this year has statistically been a monster, putting up as many points as some of the top QB's in the league...
On the other hand, it's David Carr, historically a risky pickup. Keep in mind, Carr plays for the Texans, one of the worst teams in the league for their entire existence. He also has spent more time on his back in the past 3 seasons than my ex-wife.

Kellen Winslow poses some interesting options also. He is an amazing athlete, with the talent to be one of the top TE's in the league. He also is posting some fantastic numbers so far...
On the other hand, he plays for Cleveland, historically the doormat in the AFC North (Seeing as I am from the Cleveland area, it pains me to admit it). Were he on a more successful team, he'd be a little more of an attractive pickup. Seeing as how Cleveland has a tendancy to play from behind, it usually means more opportunities in the passing games, but normally downfield.
Winslow has the speed and athleticism to be a deep threat, but it is a big gamble.

Overall, trade for your needs...If you need a solid #2 QB, or even a low-end #1, and you have depth at TE, pull the string. If you are looking at dealing Carr, don't trade a solid backup if you already have a top shelf TE and depth at the position. Both have excellent trade value right now, whatever you do, don't waste it.

TE just haven't made me any points this year. Check and see if Colsten is available. Kellen is on a really bad team. Carr would be a solid spot start but nothing more than that. It's even if u have a capable TE replacement

Depends on rosters. Winslow is having a good year and should continue. Carr is probably at his high point for the year. Several touchdowns and few picks so far...

i imagine this proves that this low season has been fairly ridiculous. i do not keep in mind of any low season that had this many transactions in this a lot of a short era of time. i imagine him being traded is a desperation go through the Buccaneers. The Bucs damage themselves through having rid of their veterans on offense, and now they ought to fill those voids. i imagine Winslow will conflict in that offense. particular the Bucs have a sparkling coach meaning a sparkling equipment, even with the indisputable fact that the offense has struggled for fairly a even as. The protection has continually been the Bucs good healthful. Their offense has continually been particularly terrible specially because of their QB circumstances, and the shortcoming of WR's. i imagine Winslow will conflict because the Bucs don't have a good answer at QB, and they do no longer have many good WR's anymore. in the journey that they don't get solutions at those positions then Winslow heavily isn't in a position to get open meaning his yardage will be decreased and his career will slide down hill extra.

It depends on your roster, how many qb's you start, and if you are short at one or another position. I think it is not a good one, considering Winslow is such a hothead and unproven, he might talk himself out of starting, or think he is superman and be injured soon. He doesn't have good numbers thus far, and Carr does, he is usually playing from behind which means he will be putting up good numbers. but if you are not starting him anyway, good trade

David Carr is already proven to be doing better this season. Hold on to him for at least one or two more games.

If one needed a QB, maybe. But Carr is a waiver wire guy in most leagues. You would have to have a lot of depth, or be really hurting at QB to do that.

It's not bad, but we don't have enough information to see how it would deplete your roster.
