as far as the insect world goes how do they help anything there awful for cats and dogs to have but what about when you get them in your house from your pet,we know what other insects and bugs are for but i havent found anyone who knows what place in our world that these fit and for what reason,do bats eat them,do monkeys eat them,i:m just wanting to know how and where they fit into our bug chain,what are they really good for?

Can someone tell me the purpose of a human? They manipulate the food chain in destructive ways and are going to wipe out most other species from the planet. Down with fleas and humans!!

I thinkt hey go along in the category mosquitos are in. Nature doesnt need them. A recent article I read said that mosquitos can be removed from nature without causing much disturbance as they aren't a major food source of any other organism. Fleas and most other parasites are probably of the same case.

well you have to know that thay cheeted on the ark their were only susposed to be 2 fleas i think they were hiding out on the other animals . now all they are good for is they keep my dog and cat in shape from scratching so much. front line sucks and just how long can they hold their breath under water when i give my dog a bath? was it adam or eve who got the first flea bite ?

The flea is good for nothing, and it's purpose is to make the sellers of flea powder,flea combs,flea shampoo,skin preparations
flea collars , worming tablets and syrups VERY RICH!.

as with everything they are part of the food chain(tick birds,monkeys ) ,they also transmit desease so they are an agent for that
