OK Foley was preying on underage boys. But what member of the Democratic Party was hiding the proof of this for YEARS in order to use it for political gain. Is there no care whatsoever about the safety of our children? How can a person do this? What kind of person sees these IMs and just sits on them with no care for the welfare of that child or the children that Foley may come into contact with in the future? This truely is a sad state that the Democratic Party is in, don't you think?

I guess details are in order. The GOP knew about emails which supposedly did not have anything sexual in them, the IMs however, are three years old, and somebody had them all this time, and somehow I doubt it was the kid that kept them. Now the IMs come to light just in time to HELP the DNC. Now I'm no genius, but it is pretty obvious that the DNC has had the goods for YEARS and did nothing until it helped THEM. What about the children???

You're right, you're no genius. I mean, Hastert knew all about it and did nothing. And how do YOU know that a Democrat leaked the info? And don't you think that a Democrat would have leaked to someone OTHER than ABC? Why automatically blame the Democrats? You right wingers make me sick. You assume that all Democrats don't care about kids, that (like the Republicans WOULD do) they would use this to gain seats in Congress, and you start your tirade with "OK Foley was preying on underage boys." as though it's perfectly fine. Maybe the kid in question released the info - maybe one of his friends, his family.. is that even a consideration in your tiny mind? What Foley done was UNACCEPTABLE. First and foremost.
However, what he has done is NOT Illegal, yet. It is not illegal to have sex talk on the computer. It is illegal to seek him and and actually do it. AGAIN.. I do not like what he done at all!!!!
Let us compare it to what we KNOW that the Democrat's knew... They had been trying for the last three years to get something to stick with the news and press so that they can get rid of him. Now, if we are to be protecting the KIDS, why did the democrats NOT do something at least three years ago? If Foley was so dangerous, he could have easily done something to some kid and since the Democrat's who KNEW that he was dangerous to children did NOTHING about it, are they not as responsible if not more? (This is based on their rhetoric)
Oh, it would seem that all the republican leadership knew was about these email's which where not much at all to go on. Only the instant messages that have recently appeared ARE.

See, I already know that this went out earlier today, because it was on Fox News, Katherine Harris said it, as did several other Republicans.
And - it's not true.
So, shuddupayouface, and admit that it was Republican leadership that worried more about saving a seat than children.

did you ever think that MAYBE kid went public with the e-mails.... then the other kids went public with the IMs, since they knew they weren't alone... and it never HAD anything to do with what the party was or was not doing?
