I've always wondered whether the number of answers to questions is a function of what time the question gets posted. This is a global website , right?

It is related to the time of course, not many people are on here during 3am answering questions, and few are on during school/work hours.
Of course this varries from culture to culture, and while it is global there are some places with more people able to access it than others.

i am in China all is one time zone. its called Beijing time. the country is the same size as the USA but only one time zone. seems they think Beijing is the center of the world. I am 12 hours ahead of East Coast Time in the USA. But that will change the end of this month. then I will be 13 hours ahead

I'm on the Indian Standard Time, 5 and half hour ahead of G.M.T. why answering your question my time here right now is 1:24 IST. and 8:55 G.M.T.
