If you are doing it for your children, than try to look at it from the frame of mind of what they might be thinking. Like think of things that she did with and for her children, how she liked being helpful to her children by watching their children, how she enjoyed looking after her grandchildren. Think of hobbies she enjoyed, or any organizations she believed in, joined or supported. Think of how she may have 'helped others' she came in contact with, if there were any charities she contributed to. If she enjoyed walks or picnics or the sky at night. If you come up with memories that she shared with her children, then that will be nice for them because they can think of good times. You might quote a particular Christmas when you both played Santa and how she picked out a wagon for Peter or a Doll for Mary, how she loved that sort of thing and how you both would look on them when they were sleeping or helped them with their prayers or homework, or such. If she sewed a dress for a daughter or played catch with her son. You will do just fine, just sit down and jot ideas and then when you are done sew them into a little story.

Talk about that kind of woman she was. What kind of mother she was. Here is a good line she did a lot of wonderful important thing in her life but the best thing she did was have my children and I thank her for that.

Just follow your heart, you loved her before and you say she is a good mother. And make sure you add the grandmother part in there somewhere.

Just say all the good things she has done, and write all the memories of what you have of her..
