Just wondering what ya thought of my poem? Thanks for reading.

"God's Fine Creation"
To the mountains so secluded and far away,
I wish I could go there every day.
Up there I feel so close to the Lord,
I go and talk with him; it's like we're in
one accord.
The mountains, trees, and streams beckon me,
As I sit in the amidst of the trees,
It sounds as though nature is singing a new
song to me.
The crickets and the other insects make up
the sections of the strings.
Then the wind rustling in the trees is like
a flute playing softly.
The stream close by me is beating over the
rocks like the Indians used to beat the
drums.
The birds are tweeting like trumpets with
their mellow hims.
So all of these sounds make up nature's band,
Is rested in the palm of God's great hand.

It reminds me of one of Gods perfect gifts.
I read it and get such a lift.
But then we elected a guy named Bush
and the planet is turning into mush.
soon, bigger and bigger bombs will start to blow
and the whole earth will have a nice green glow.
It's a nice poem, easy to read...peaceful. It made me want to try writing something....
