Small.

Very small.

As far as what candidates stand for, I would like candidates who would quit squeezing my limited, hard-earned money out of me.

Thank you politicians. Now get a job that generates new wealth instead of one that just redistributes ours.

If given a real choice I would insist that every part of our government not have only one person in charge but a number of people who will work for the people of this country. Leaving one person in charge is dangerous and history has proved this over and over again as it is happening now too.
Leaving one person in charge makes for wars without the consent of we the people who are the ones footing the whole bill for everything. If there were several people in charge to make decision instead of one and those people would take it to the people and they would have to listen before running out and starting wars and stealing another countries oil and killing innocent people who don't want their lively hood stolen from them and lying to everyone about the true reasons for doing this is what is so dangerous to every country including ours.
Having such a choice of big or small government is not the issue but to have not just one in charge of making the most important decisions that the whole world will suffer from is something that can't continue any longer because the only one in charge does not want to work for world peace as long as he has the power to commit his own acts of murder and terrorism and not give one thought to world peace.
I vote for a government that will work for the people no matter if it's a big or small government as long as we are it's only concern.

I think government's only domestic roles should be maintaining and improving the infrastructure (roads and technology), education (should be backfunded to work optimaly, rather than doing the best it can with little funding [education is economic infrastructure]), and regulating commerce. Social issues should be a matter of the courts, rather than legislature... so yes... I dig very small government, but the roles it does have are critical to have as well funded as possible.

I'd vote for a larger government. There is more populated ontorl in a lrger governemnt. so things don't go astray. But there are always exceptions but most of the time a larger government is better.
