You can certainly get into many colleges. However, colleges will look more than just GPAs.

Did you participate in after school activities, community service, music lessons, or play sports? Did you hold a job?

If you have to submit an essay, they may also consider how well you write.

How about your standardized test scores?

The more well rounded you are, the more attractive a candidate you will be.

www.collegeboard.com, you can look at colleges your are interested in, and they'll give you the average GPA and average SAT/ACT scores for the incoming freshman from that year. But don't hold back just because you feel like your GPA isn't high enough. Like everyone else said, colleges look at other things too.

Most colleges will accept students with such a GPA, provided other materials are suitable (SAT/ACT scores, application and fees, essays, etc.).

Many but it depends upon how your high school compares to others, whether or not you took the most difficult (AP / honors) classes, what your SAT scores are, what major you wish to study, and your personality. What interests do you have and how well have your pursued or developed them?
