I am so sorry that your ancestors were held in slavery, your families were sold off and seperated, you were treated like second class citizens-riding on the back of buses, white only restaurants, seperate bathrooms ect. And I am so sorry that there are whites making racist comments (they are in a small minority). I feel bad this happened and wish it never would of-Will you accept this caucassion's apology for what his race of people did to your race?

Good point. As for England that affected my ancestors, and just like African americans we had to stand up and fight for our freedom.

I have no say in 40 acres and a mule, but if that was what was promised they should of delivered. I too would like even 1 acre as opposed to my 100x150 lot (-:.

This is not a joke I just feel bad that human beings were treated like this. I was raised in a mainly whit community but my work brought me to working with 38 Detroiters who were mostly African American, and when I got to know them I liked them. I dont fear them because their skin is different, but like them as human beings who had some bad experiences with whites in that town.

yep. that was very bold and though u may not feel that one white man's apology will really make a difference, someone out there (for example ME) will be very moved by ur attempt to apologize on behalf of ur "people". u seem like a very good person and i'm very appreciative of ur comments. have a wonderful day and god bless.

The US is still oppressing people today. African-American's are just one oppressed group. Topic tunnel vision can focus on the symptom of a cause, rather than the cause. Any system based on dominance and control leads to oppression. Any system based on hierarchy, where ANY citizen has more access to rights, protections, and privileges, is the same system that spawned prejudces against African-Americans.

Age, race, ethnicity, gender/nongender identity, sex/anatomy, sexual orientation, physical/mental ability, national origin etc.

I also recently did a research project about the hispanic immigration debate. If you're interested in gaining even more insight to present day human trials and systems of coersion and inequality, please feel free to visit the link below:

I am a white person, I think your statement is wonderful. I too would like to extend my apologies to the indigenous Australian aboriginals. I am sorry that your land was taken, your country invaded and you were removed from your families. I am sorry that the some of you are living in poverty and victims of abuse and racism.

Please also accept my apology.

Have you thought about starting a website regarding this issues? Thanks for the question, and getting people thinking about racism.

this is because of the fact there are so plenty greater white people than black people in usa of america. so as meaning that in spite of if some white people like Lupe Fiasco or another black artist given the vast form of white people there are going to nonetheless be rather some white people at that stay overall performance.

Guilty of being white.
I'm sorry for something i didn't do
A hundred years before i was born
I'm a convict
Guilty
of a racist crime
Guilty
i've only served
Guilty
nineteen years of my time
Guilty.
Guilty of being white.

You didn't do it. Just treat everyone with respect from this day forward, and things will be cool.

What is "ect?"
What is "seperated?"
What is "would of?"
...and, finally,
What is "caucassion?"

I suppose that your heart's in the right place, but you need to put your head in a dictionary.

why would you say sorry? unless you did something to a black person that was done out of hate you have no reason to be sorry. it is pointless. i guess this is a joke for you? you can not apologize for other peoples actions, just your own.
