This is an interesting question which definately holds true to many males. I wonder too all the time .....it's just the predictions of the Bible, that in the last days people's hearts will become more vile and wicked...I also believe this has alot to do with upbringing...family background....(One of the major reasons is ...)I've discovered that because of the fact that most or many mothers end up being the main bread winners of the family, the children in the home become so accustomed to that lifestyle.....especially the males, then what happens later, is that when many of these men marry or cohabitate with a partner even if they themselves are earning enough, they still expect the female to play the same role as their mother did, and when/if you refuse to, they see you as being soooo evil...etc...So what the mothers who get caught in that plight should practice is to sensitize their male children that their father should have been the main provider, but because of his absence, the responsibility is left on her, but she will try her best with them, and they must remember that when they become adults, they should not follow their fathers footsteps by neglecting their family..they must know that they must be there to assist them so that everyone can live comfortable lives, because by right it is the father/male who should be bearing the main responsibility of their children.

i dont think you should say that as most men arent like that. im female and agree that some men are selfish and only care about themselves however alot of girls are like this too. just because you have had a bad experience doesnt mean you should judge the whole male race!!!

Some men are selfish, some aren't.
If they feel they are deprived, or have distress in their lives they will spoil themselves, and depending on the incident, could last awhile.

My husband of 20 years is not selfish and cares about me and our pets.

I think there selfish cause they really dont realize what they have until its gone.But once they know you will always be around, are jump to there every need then they become more selfish

Both men and woman can be selfish, and there are good and bad people in both sexes...

guys are just taught at a young age, to be tough, be a man, suck it up, get over it. they are just more likely to grow up focusing on achieving tasks and not worrying as much about others. Its not like its true for everyone, but to some extent it is.

The are dogs. They go home when they want food, shelter, sex, etc but then they are off again running around outside to who knows where......
