I would get a professional microdermabrasion first to get quick results and then follow up the treatment with at home microdermabrasion to keep up the results. Get a professional microdermabrasion every 6 months.

Microdermabrasion is THA BOMB!! I had it done about 8 years ago and had the best skin for a LONG time. She told me most people buy like a 4 treatment deal, and she told me I'd need about 3 treatments. I started out with just one and... I haven't been back in 8 years! However, I do need it again! I'd love to have the luminscent glow once again! I highly recommend it, and do NOT buy one of those at home products! Like the lady told me, and the other girls you've read here, they can leave your skin raw and possibly scared or burnt! Go to a pro! :) Cheers, to natural beauty!

You have got to read the book by Dr. Denese!!!!!

She explains all the latest in skincare for anti-aging & flawless skin. The best thing is her step by step program that gives you a daily regimen for youthful clear skin that can be adapted to any professional quality line of products---not dept. store or cheapo stuff.

She even explains the beauty industry hype!

Get the scoop from "Dr. Denese's Secrets for Ageless Skin" ...her answer is to stick with a homecare microderm cream and avoid machines but use a pro microderm when necessary.

Good luck!

im sure pro gives the best results but also costs many times more, i think the good brands of home kits will work fine but be careful how much you rub it on, or you might make your skin raw. you might try going to a pro the first time, then you would get an idea of how much pressure to put on your skin. good luck

Definitely the professional one. Just make sure that the pro is good and not some hack who leaves your skin all raw.

I had one done in my Dermatologists office and loved it. Joanne left my skin very soft and smooth

Its always best to get it done by a proffesional. Their equipment is alot more specialized, and they have done it over and over and practice makes perfect. For the price you pay for a at home kit, its just better to save up and get it done proffesionally because the home kits hardly work.
