Depends on how drunk he was.
He may like you a lot in sober world, enjoys the flirting and picking at each other; but, is too shy/nervous/ too close a friend to let you know.
In social drunk world, his friends may have been talking about you. and he complimented you and they helped him (another Bud, please) to get the courage up to call you and tell you.
In messed up drunk, he had a many too many. Saw you number on his cell, and said (after challening everyone in the room to a fight, being the best dancer in the room, turning invisible (see MESSED Up)) "Hey, (hic) There's cristi80, she's so good to me (hic.) We make 'boo-ti-full' music together. I 'tink' I'll call her and let her know"

cristi: Hello?
guy friend: HEY CRISTI. HOW ARE YOUUUU. (drunks are also really loud so they can be heard)
cristi: guy, It's 1:30 in the freaking morning, why are you calling so late.
gf: Cristi, (hic), I been 'thinning'. I 'lub' you. You are fun and 'boo-ti-ful'
crisit: guy, I think your drunk, sweetie, go sleep it off.
gf: Ok, (hic) but, (background noise, hey, where my beer?) I'll let you go to sleep. But i jus' thought you ought-, ought-, (hic) need to know. "goob" night, I'll go to 'sleeb' now, (Z-z-z-z--z)
So, imo, I would just chill. I wouldn't rush it or think too badly of it.

he just wants sex!
if he loves you he should be more respectful and NOT call and say such things when he's drunk. he should be a man and do things in a nice way that makes you feel special.
run now, unless you also just want sex?!?

they say your true colors come out when your drunk. ask him about it and get it out in the open. thats the only way to find out. he might have really meant it but is just too emabaressed to bring it up
