They think beauty is being bone thin - - they view beauty in a very fxcked up way. Look at the magazines and other advertisement - - you don't see healthy, curvy women in there, do you? No. You see women with the body of a ten year old and it's disgusting!

Hopefully, there are people that still appreciate uniqueness which is beauty to me; and that can vary from person to person. If you look at America's beauty standards through Hollywood's eyes...it's nothing pretty. Glorified eating disorders, over expensive clothing, never being satisfied with their own God-given good looks (unecessary plastic surgery), and that's just the physical aspect...

I don't think America views real beauty. As a society, we seem hell bent on creating beauty. Plastic surgery is being performed on people who don't need it. Everyone's top lip doesn't need to be so fat that it touches their nose.
What people seem to forget is that most of these "procedures", are easily identifiable. Which brings up the point, what did they look like before?

America is a conglomeration of everybody from all parts of the world.
Therefore, there is no single view, whatever the "media" says.
