I want to go into either advertising or maybe film. I can't decide, so I am going to do mass comm./media becuase it kind of covers both. IDEAS/ADVICE???

I think communications is a major field of the future. Mass Communications would open up so many areas you and you would never be out of work.

Do what you want, keeping career goals in mind. Just be aware that a lot of people view Mass Comm as a "fluff" degree.
