why do people cheat?

You know everybody seems to have answer to that question.
but if and when it happens to them (ihope not) will they have that same answer that they gave you? i dout it. all i can say is .when ever you find out..could you please share.

Personally I think that all men cheat it might not be physically all the time but if they have thoughts about other women wouldn't this be considered cheating? Society has made men to come out this way, and also all the temptation that is out there. If a man cheats on a woman it doesn't necesarily always mean that he doesn't love her all the time. On the other hand I think that most of the women who cheat on men is because a man cheated on them first and it's in revenge.

The main reason why someone cheats is because they are very insecure and have low self esteem. When they get with someone else it boosts their esteem temporarily. People who are jealous are more likely to cheat as they want something they don't have. When someone is insecure in a relationship they will often cheat because they think you will cheat on them first...rather than being hurt by you they would rather hurt you first.

Cheating one time...stupidity. Everyone has done things they regret, as it is human nature. I do not believe that if you cheat that you do not love the person you are with. If it is habitual, there is an obvious problem within the current relationship that is unresolved.

Men cheat for the sex and women cheat because they like the feeling of beeing wanted. Most of the time men cheat for variaty and women feel they are missing something at home. Either way its wrong.

Different reasons, self-esteem issues, because they haven't finnished growing up and got rushed into the relation ship they are in now. Trust me Cheaters will make up excuses like you wouldn't believe to tell us why they cheat. Personaly I think its because they have issues with themselves. They are cowards who can't fix their own problems so end up makeing them worse by bringing in some 3rd wheel.

Because they are scum. If it is that bad they have to cheat..then they should just leave instead of causing hurt, mistrust, and disrupting anyone else that may be involved in a relationship.
EX: Children, family, friends
So, once again, its either a mental malfunction or they are scum.

Things aren't going well at home, and somebody comes along shows some interest, Next thing you know their talking about their partners and the way it used to be and the mail/female then discuss what she would do if she was with him...and the next thing is you are way over your head...Feelings will be hurt..

Because there is something lacking, either sexually or emotionally. When you are not happy you look for what you need to make you happy. Sometimes you love someone so much you cant bring yourself to leave them so you look elsewhere to find what you need to fill that void. Or some ppl just do it for fun.

people cheat because they are immature. they are searching for their identity, and try to find it in other people.
they try to find in other people acceptance and admiration-
because they do not know themselves, they dont know what they want.
