and its making me very depressed as it seems everyone else is short! My husband is the same height as me and I hate it, I never did like it. All my exes were six two or more and with them I felt like the lady, not like manish. I know this is my problem, but its no fun being this tall as a woman. Esp, since most men are the same height as me and almost all woman are way shorter. This is making me depressed, even my husband prefers short women...even if he just checks them out. I hate being this tall, because men ignore you (yes I m with someone but it is nice to get attention) or men see you as manish, and women see you as man like. Plus it seems like the fashion world caters to short women more often than not.
And the wierd thing is tall men (like taller me) want really short women and short men like having a taller gf.
I dont get it, and it seems like people are just staying short or there is an uprising in short people lately.

Instead of worrying about things u cannot change, why don't u try working on your atttidude which u can change? I'm 5'5 1/2" and I'm neither short nor tall but my self worth isn't based on my height...or my looks for that matter.

Wow! I'm also 5'10" and I've always embraced my height. I like the fact that I'm taller than most women and a lot of men. I don't even have an issue with wearing heels. Sure finding clothes to fit right is a bit of a challenge but it's not impossible. As for not getting as much attention as someone shorter than I am, my best friend (who's 5'2") says she wishes she were taller as no one pays attention to the short people. I've never been able to say I've wanted for attention... sometimes I've wished for less! Granted finding a dance partner can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you don't want them talking to the girls, if you know what I mean!

You really need to rethink your ideas about yourself. Did it ever cross your mind that your personality is driving people away because you can't accept the card you've been dealt? People are naturally drawn to those who have confidence in themselves. Your husband married you so there must be something to you as he certainly didn't seem to mind your height while y'all were dating! Instead of finding all the negatives about your height, try looking at the positives. If you can't find them, you're definitely not looking hard enough!

I have lovers of many heights. Miyuki is 5'-0.5", 97 lbs., but Megumi is 5'-10", 122 lbs. and the tallest Japanese girl I've met. I am 6'-1", 320 lbs. and muscular. My brother is 4.5" taller than I am but lighter. I am more concerned with proportions than with height per se.

WOW, I am 6'2 myself and I think it is very hard to find tall women, I am usually intimidated by them because I think they are the most attractive....I never really thought women 5'10 felt this way....maybe I will find me one this week, and we can make eachother happy

each and every variety in the international lives in skinny denims, and that they are all 5 10" or taller. the reason you basically see them on shorter females and heavier females is beause you never see different 5' 10" one hundred thirty pound women people!
