She lives in Wisconson and I live in Florida, and we met about two years ago, and we broke up more than a year ago. I still have feelings for her, and she claims to have feelings for me too. However she is getting married to this guy next year, and I know it is serious between them by the way she describe the relationship to me.
But I just can not seem to get on with my life. I mean I told her about how I felt and all, but I feel that there is something keeping me from getting on with my life, and I need help trying to forget about her. How can I get over her if she says she wants to be friends?

It's not easy! I was in love with this guy for years and we occasionally dated, but nothing serious and I never realized how much I loved him until he was gone out of my life. I haven't seen him or talked to him in over 4 years and I still think of him constantly. I just recently found out he's married. I have moved on excepted the fact we'll never be together and now I have a new boyfriend, but I still think of him all the time. It's something you'll never truly forget about, but you'll learn to move on and get on with your own life. It's really hard you just need to stay busy.

If she says that she still has feelings for you, then why is she getting married to this other guy next year? See, sometimes, women will make you think that they have very strong feelings for another man, especially when there is a great distance between the two of you. This does one of two things for us, either you will prove what you say to us about your feelings or it will somehow make you think that we are happy so that you will not worry about us any longer so that we can move on.It seems to me that if she did,in fact, tell you that she still has feelings for you, then it is now on you to go to her and tell her how much you love her. If she can look you in your eyes & tell you that she wants to marry that guy, then you will know in your heart that you did everything that you could & that in itself will help you to move on & be fully happy in your life. It looks to me like you don't have much choice. I'm not trying to be smart at all but if she is getting married it sort of snuffs out the reconciliation chapter of your life.

You need to move on it is not healthy to be friends with her, if she is getting married, change you phone number, and move on. keep busy, go out and better your life..then when your ready go meet someone new..but your not ready now...take your time get over her...and move on ..good luck
