It took me 4 and 1/2 years the first time. I was very stressed about it for a long time, but as soon as I got used to the idea that it may not happen.....I ended up pregnant. Had my daughter, while I was still in the delivery room I said, "That wasn't so hard...I want to do it again." Bad thing to say if God happens to be listening. I had my son 11 months later. My son will be 20 on Friday, my daughter 21 on Nov.3. Good luck and don't give up!

As soon as we decided to have a baby I was pregnant within 2 months. I had my 1st baby May1997 and my 2nd in March1999. I'm remarried and started over, so far we tried for a year and finally I was pregnant in May of this year, but I had a miscarriage in July so now I'm trying again since last month, so far nothing. Its seems so much harder now then before. I'm doing the ovulation test, to better my chances. I hope for the best.

My answer is 5 years of trying with my first... it was found that both myself and my partner at the time had both fertitlity problems. We successfully had a child after 2 years of IVF treatment. DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE. When the time is right you will be a proud happy parent.

My husband came home from Iraq, we decided we wanted to try for a baby and 4 weeks later we had a positive pregnancy test!!! Good Luck!!!

3 years but i have a very irregular cycle

I was not trying, so the first time I had sex with my husband is when I got pregant!
