The equation is simple:
To convert 20 miles per hour (mph) into kilometers per hour (km/hr), multiply by 1.61, like this:
20 miles per hour (mph) × 1.61 = 32.2 kilometers per hour (km/hr).

There isn't a formula persay you have to convert one thing to another.

so you start with m/s:
The information that you need to know is that there are 1000m in a km and 3600s in an hour.

m/s*(3600s/1h)*(1km/1000m)
