I made a huggeeee mistake with this girl. I go to a big ten college and didn't really have any spare time on my hands and whatever spare time I had went straight to her and thereby neglected my friends. Anyhow, aside from being ridiculously lonely, I don't know how to treat this situation. I don't know if I should pursue her again or just drop the entire deal. I know that if we date again, it'll probably turn sour in short time but I'm still having a real tough time dealing with not having her and I can't seem to get anything done and spend too much of my time moping. It really seems like a lose-lose situation =(.... HELP!

Sounds like you dont have much hope for a lasting relationship with her so why put yourself through the pain again? So, allow yourself time to heal and then find someone who you can have a loving relationship with.

Hmm if you think dating her again will turn sour again then just move on. It'll be hard but if you go to college there should be plenty more girls there. I'm in the same position you are really... lose-lose situation.. stay and deal with pain or leave and deal with pain.. lol good luck

Maybe you should give it a rest for some time and see how that works out for you. After all, if she's meant for you, she'll always be there, and if she isn't, then you know you did the right thing. And don't neglect your friends - if she's sensible, she'll understand why. Plus think about if you actually love her. Ifyou had to be stuck in a box with one person your whole life, would it be her?

Oh dear. I did the same with my fiance. i really isolated myself from everyone, including family. as lonely as it begins with, time will make things better. You have to force yourself to head out, even by meeting one new person that can lead to another couple and so one. It takes time but stick it out and things will brighten up and you will meet some one that will fall for you and it will all begin again. Good Luck!!

Think about your school work and also about meeting new people. You will be thru with school in time and will move on anyway
