Is it possible for a couple to get back together after 5 or more years of brutal divorce. Can we really put it all behind us and make it work?

you are the only one that knows what you went through before, I cant really answer this for you. Follow your heart has the other person changed at all and if for how long. I believe some people can change some things but it takes a real strong person to do this, you can try it and if any of the signs come back get out. I wouldnt get married again right away anyways.

Probably not, in my opinion you should never go back to an ex...after all there is a reason they are an ex. Especially if the divorce was brutal because there will probably be a lot of anger issues there. Move on.

Ha! I would strongly say Run.....but i have actually seen it work with my own parents even after he remarried, then mended things 5 years later, and are more in love then ever...but it was tough for them, when u take some1 back,u must bury the things that have happened,so my advice to you is to make sure your willing to forget and forgive,if not it will never work, depends on the strength of the love, and the person, good luck in whatever happens! hope this helps ya!

Honestly, I don't think it's possible. People don't change. Things might start nice in the beginning, but somehow everything just goes back to the same where you left off... a brutal breakup.
