No way...Alex Tanguay will take up alot of slack for Iginla. The Flames were ranked 27th in scoring last year...they cannot let him go. They have arguably the best goalie in the league. Regehr is a big help on defense.I do not like the loss of Chris Simon but the Flames have a great chance to go far....unless they are out of the race by the all-star break; there is no reason to trade Jerome now...

No. Along with Kipper and the Dion, he is a huge fan favorite and a team captain. That run to the Cup was amazing, and people seem to forget that he helped spark the Flames in each of the series not just with goals, but he had a fight in every series. It would be nice to see a player of Jarome's ability and stature to actually start and end his career with one team (he didn't do anything with Dallas).

provided that Iginla desires to be moved. He has a NTC. Iginla appears like the form who might comply with waive it if administration asked, yet i'm not prepared on golf equipment working their veteran stars out of city. i did not like what surpassed off to Mats Sundin. He ultimately wasn't traded yet each and every of the communicate and the stress became into an unpleasant way for him to end his time in Toronto. i think of making the form of contribution to a company that Iginla has in Calgary would desire to be some thing human beings honor and understand. those uncommon gamers who become the face of a franchise over an entire occupation would desire to be allowed to serve out their contracts without human beings hounding them to settle for a commerce. they produce different supplies they are able to commerce. Ottawa controlled to acquire thoughts and commence a rebuild without procuring and advertising Alfredsson or Spezza. i don't think of Calgary has as many supplies yet they have some. they are able to do it without working Iginla out of city. The Flames might in all likelihood get a 1st around %. and a prospect/2nd around %.. Is that truly nicely worth tarnishing the legacy of Iginla in Calgary by potential of pressuring him to waive his NTC?

NO ARE YOU STUPID, they finally got a guy that can pass him the puck and he could get over 50 goals this year. with the team they have now i see them winning the Presidents trophy as top team in the league. but i cant say if they would win the cup because you cant predict in the playoffs cause anybody can win it, that's what makes hockey the best sport in the world you cant just buy the Stanley cup.

Absolutly not that is their franchise player. Doing so would drop attendance and moral on the hockey club.
Dropping a franchise player shows that the management have no desire of winning and only have their pocket books in mind.
