nothing wrong with being a freak, I rather enjoy it. I am freakish, because I like nature, and I dont smoke or drink much alcohol, and I pick up trash in the wilderness, I do the speed limit and dont tailgate people. and I help old ladies in the supermarket by getting stuff off the top shelf. What a fereek I am!

I am different in so many ways that put together it makes me a freak. I don't want to bore you with the full list of things that are unusual about me, but here are a few:

I have no gender identity (I have a biological gender but not an emotional one and neither fit in with men nor women). I almost never talk unless I have to. I'm psychic. I look pretty normal, but I have unexplained physical health problems that doctors just can't figure out. I have unusual body functions, such as feeling hot when it's cold and cold when it's hot and when I'm exhausted after skipping sleep for a night or two I'm full of energy and feel like running or doing something crazy and fun. I have mental disorders. I remember well everything I learn and have a huge database of information in my head but can't remember daily things like what I'm having for dinner. And despite all this stuff I can still hide my freaky sides and pretend to be a little normal when necessary in order to not freak people out completely. :)

I have monkey toes. I can snap my toes like fingers, pick up all sorts of items, really hang onto stuff with my toes, hold a pencil and write with my toes. LOL When I was giving birth to my first son - my toes freaked my OB/GYN doc out, because he said they were holding onto the stirrups like hands. He said he had never seen anything quite like them. By the way - it must be genetic, because both my sons share the same talent. I know - freaky.....

I am not so different. I freak (and I mean freak) if I see anyone being mean to an animal or child. To the point where I will get involved.

I'm different because I never got praised by the people who were supposed to love me unconditionally (read: parents) my whole life and still thought life was sweet and exciting.

I'm dyscalculiate (dyslexia with numbers instead of letters), allergic to eggs and chicken, and have an extra bone in each foot.

EDIT: Karla, I do the same things with my toes!!!!

A freak can mean different things. It can mean you look different, or it can mean you talk different, or it can mean you think different, etc. Basically your considered a freak if you are different which may cause you to be alienated by certain people...

Well I've lived long enough to know that I'm AM like everyone else. And if that doesn't make us all freaks, I don't know what does.
