Actually, a cashier is replaceable and most of them are rude to begin with.

The bus driver is replaceable as well and is also rude to begin with. My father accidentally cut his hand seconds before he swiped his metrocard and the driver kept b*tching about how unsanitary it was that he left blood there and how it's bad for the kids. Jesus Christ, my father f*cking accidentally hurt himself! Why do the kids come first? Why did no one give a sh*t about him? Then some other woman got into it and was like "yeah, I always carry sanitary lotion with me everywhere. I must have misplaced it today." B*tch please.

Most of the time it is really because that's how they were raised. The people in their lives have always been rude to them and they really don't know any better.

Sometimes, it's because they are angry about the problems in their lives, and they are going around with all these horribly grumbling thoughts just running rampant in their minds. If you asked them, "what are you thinking right now" I guarantee you, that cashier, bus driver, or whom ever they are rude to, would NOT be on their minds at all. They are thinking about how crappy their lives turned out, and wondering what the hell to do about it.

When people are rude to those people, it's very sad,... but worst is when a bus driver is rude to passengers,... a cashier is rude to customers. I think the customer should always be treated like a king... and a king is sometimes rude... because....- well, just because.

Yeah i agree...
You're nice enough to hold the door open for someone and they dont have the common courtesy to say a simple thank you. What ever happened to having manners???

To the lady with the dad that cut his hand and had the bus driver b*tch about it...well it is unsanitary!!! how would you like it if someone with aids left blood lying around huh? i'm not saying that your dad does but there are people that do.

Pop culture glorifies the rude slob - pro wrestling and a lot of rap, for instance. Parenting has slipped badly on average as well.

We don't need cashiers (self-checkout lane)
Bus drivers are rude first (in my experience)
People just don't care about eachother

I agree with you.

Having had several jobs in CS I know what it is like to have rude customers not only in person but over the telephone. They don't realize that you are not the person causing them inconveniences. Also they do not realize that its not your fault they are having a bad day- or that you are not the person that shoved a stick up their ***.

Because their parents did not teach them to respect others. That and not enough of the people they are rude and abusive to haven't stood up and smacked them up side the head. Works wonders for manners.

Seems like we are living in a rude & crude society now. It's disgusting. Too bad they can't see how uniltelligent rudeness shows them to be.

There's just lots of unhappy people out there. Most of them learn it at home, and instead of improving their lives, they just keep repeating the same offensive behaviour.
