Where to take a one month vacation with son in Mexico?

Question

I would like to take my one year old somewhere warm, near a beach, for about a month. I need to get online, as I teach online courses. I also want to be sure it is a safe location. Any suggestions on a city where I might be able to rent something for around $400-800 a month?

I live in Mexico, and the trip I took to Veracruz has been by farthest the most relaxing and adventurous trip ever. If you stay at Puerto de Veracruz (right in the middle) from there you can go to all of its cities, tons of jungle sights, rafting rapids, all water sports, its the first town the spanish landed and from where cortez came and went.
I actually went 50% under the budget I had for the trip because food and expenses were so cheap. The Drug thing, dont worry about it, its between drug dealers, tourist are treated like royalty, all you have to worry about is not being so gulible and obey the law. Mexico city I would worry about, even as a mexican.haha

Playa del Carmen is one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in Mexico! I've been there at least 5 times. You will find very accessible accomodation and absolutely all the services, including internet of course.

Hi, I live in Cozumel, Mex. Here you can go a lot of places. It's close Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Tulum.. Everything is beautiful.
