I agree. Mark Foley is at best a CHILD PREDATOR!!!! He sent IM's to a young boy, using teenage vernacular (i.e Cool, broken English etc.) to coerce a young boy into engaging into sexual conversation. If I were hunting rabbit I'd bait my trap with carrots because that's what rabbits like. Sexual predators say, do, and use things that their prey like. He's (Mark Foley) using every excuse in the book and not taking full responsibility for his actions. He checked into a rehab center for Alcoholisim, not sexual perversion! Since when does AA treat sexually deviant behavior? I'm totally disgusted by these events. Maybe he should sign up for being the head of N.A.A.M.B.L.A., that seems more his speed!

Hey Rush is leading the charge of the conservative faithful. Rush basically suggested Liberals are upset because we couldn't join in the fun. Mr. Viagra speaks and they all sit up and listen.

The funny thing is that Foley has already resigned and we can now move on, but the conservatives will try to turn the whole Foley thing into a Liberal plot to disrupt the November elections.

I'm betting they will be talking about Foley long after we Liberals have moved on to more important issues.

I have not heard or read anyone defending Foley or his actions, although a man is innocent till proved guilt so someone may have. You go by the all men are guilty unless proved innocent or are Republican then they are always guilty.
I have heard some question why someone saves IMs for 3 yrs & releases 2 months before an election. These were embarassing emails according to his family & this is a seat that goes Republican 95% of the time.
Foley resigned, not Republican problem - a DA's problem.
As a mother, I hope they prosecute him to the full extent of law.

I also hope they find out who held such damaging to pages information until it helped the Democrats the most. 3 newspapers were sent emails by Republicans in 2005 & all including Miami Herald did not find them of value. The truly perverse ones were not given to Republican leaders. Makes you go HUMMMM!
