It took alot of people just to put him on the bus. She has a para but she told me when her para is out I have to deal with him and chase him. She said that is what our boss said. The kid freaks me out cause he is dangerous. What I want to know is this true?

Ask your principal if he/ she said that. As a paraprofessional you should be trained in proper restraint techniques if you are expected to monitor a child who is dangerous. Do you have the hours to qualify you as a para? If not, you may not be in compliance with his IEP if he requires a one to one para. Good luck!!

Sounds like he needs to go to an EI classroom. Having him the regular class is going to be too much of a distraction, regardless of who is chasing him around the room.

Well, first ask the principal if it's true and then calm down. Then, just try to get someone to help you. If not, then move him to an E.I. classroom or where he won't be a big distraction. Just hang in there and good luck!
