and if trim, how short?

Most men just leave it alone. If it gets particularly thick and wirey though, a lot of guys these days do trim it -- but not too much to be noticeable.

Men trim hair just about anywhere on their bodies -- beards, chest, pubes, etc. It really depends upon the individual man -- how comfortable he feels.

For me, now as an adult, and thinking back at my teenage years, I left everything down there the way it is -- and am glad of it.

I had to try it shaved, trimmed, and left alone before i could decide. I prefered trimmed really short but not all gone because when it was, I felt like a 2 year-old with no pubes. And a word of advice: if you want to try gettind it all off(including your balls) DON"T shave it!!!! Use "NAIR Bikini-Line Cream" because shaving gave me a razor burn and OUCH! Good luck, I hope you find YOUR right length!

Either works well, I do both. Sometimes I shave it clean and sometimes I let it grow long. Sometimes I trim it close and short. The nice thing is, it will always grow back, so have fun with it and change it sometimes.

Trim is as much as possible without actually ripping out the hair.

I think the gereral consensus today is to shave it. I have shaved all mine off since I was in my teens, just after I started to get hair there. I took some ribbing in the lockerroom at school but after I asked the guy why he was looking at my stick, that was the end of it. And pretty soon some of the other guys were going bald down there too. I love a shaved beaver on a woman since I love oral sex and hair on my togue makes me gag. Nothing worse then going to please your girl and gagging after you take a lick makes her self consicous that she tastes bad.

SHOULD they, as in for health reasons? No. There is a theory that shaving your pubic hair completely helps prevent your pheromones from being trapped in the pubic hair, thereby increasing the chances of being offered sex...but it's a theory and not related to health. Should they, as in to please others? No. You should focus on what pleases you first with your body, and then focus on your lover/fiancee/spouse. What that person thinks is very important if you love him or her, but you must be comfortable with your body first before you consider whether to change it for someone else; and if you do change it for them, make sure you're doing it because YOU want to and not only to please them. Should you shave, as in to please yourself? Yes. If you think you would prefer the look or feel of your genitalia being shaved, do so. If you end up not liking it, it'll grow back. That being said....if you choose to shave you have lots of options, none of them "required." You could shave it all off, baby's-a$$ smooth...all of it, from the pubis mons (the part just under the stomach) to the labia and bikini line and everything. Or, you could trim all of that to a shorter length, but still have hair there. Or you could shave the pubis mons and leave the rest (or trim the rest). You could shave your labia and that lower area and leave (or trim) the mons. You could leave a "landing strip", meaning a strip of trimmed hair above your slit. You could shave patterns into it, initials, hearts, etc, like the trend with african americans shaving things into their head. Some people find this attractive. There are lots of options you can choose from as far as how you make it look, but what you need to consider is what you think you'd like and what your significant other would like. As far as what to use...my girlfriend uses disposable razors. you could use a venus razor, a male fusion, etc, but it's more personal than anything, because some girls nick themselves with certain ones and not others. If you're only trimming, use an electric shaver with a length attachment. As for cream... my girlfriend uses this bikini gel. It's a blue gel in a clear tube, shaped similar to a toothpaste tube. You could use normal shaving cream, or women's bikini cream, or fusion shaving gel, whatever you find works best for you. You may find that you get ingrown hairs and shaving rash when you shave it all off. A good way to help this is to shave gently and wash thoroughly after; I like to use alcohol on my face. Splash the entire area with rubbing alcohol. Now, I don't know how healthy it is for your genitals to get washed with alcohol, but my girlfriend tried it once and said it "stung like a son-of-a-*****". The gel I mentioned she uses is supposed to help that. How to do it...I've never seen it. But I've been told a good way is to wash the area thoroughly with warm water and soap, lather it up with the cream or gel, and shave WITH the lay of the hair, then AGAINST. It strikes me as maybe being easier to use an electric shaver to reduce everything to stubble, then taking a razor to it, but I've never done it myself. Hope I answered everything well enough!

I trim, that's it. Still leave some. Tried going bare once and it just felt too weird.
