A man took girls hostages -releasing the boys- and shot them to death before shooting himself.
This is like the third school shooting I heard about, and you know, I'm convinced that if he didn't hear about the other shootings, he would not have done it:
Do you agree with me: Media is just as effective as it can be negative; maybe this guy thought, hey, they're doing it becuase they're just as screwed up as me and I'll do it too.
Or , hey, that's a good idea.
Isn't weired that America and Canada have the same incidents (3) in like less than a week?

Well, he wanted to molest these girls the way he did long time ago, and he says he's always wanted to do it, and deicided now was the time, which furthur supports my reasoning that his desire or courage was fueled by other similiar media events

Well, these Amish communities are pretty much left alone by external agencies.
There is a misguided belief that they're a very strict, religious society and they can uphold the legal and moral values of a civilized country(s) (America and/or Canada).

The truth is, in Amish / Mennonite / Hutterite communities, the leaders often turn a blind eye to such offences.
Their reason being that punishing (informing external agencies) them will harm the community as a whole.

Here is a link to a website that chronicles one person's personal hell (it describes the abuse of other ppl as well) living in an Amish community.
It's very disturbing...for mature readers only.

1. It was Paradise ,Pennsylvania

2. Five girls are dead, 3 are still critical.

3. He killed himself but not before calling his wife and telling her he wouldn't be home and he left her and his 2 kids a note.

4. He did it because he molested 2 girls 20 years ago and was apparently "having bad dreams about doing it again" and was afraid of following through.Guess he never heard of counseling.

5. He wanted some sort of revenge because he had an infant daughter die about 10 yrs ago.

6. Two of the killed victims were sisters.

It was a school house with only 27 students. He let the boys and teachers go,lined the girls up execution style and then the shots began..... a quiet little Amish community torn apart over such a tragedy!

You're "seriously convinced that if he didn't hear about the shootings, he would not have done it".

I 100% disagree on this one, sorry. People are messed up regardless unfortunately and I think the issue here is the easy access to guns rather than the easy access to media

Sad commentary on current events,I agree,The attention the media pays to theses individuals encourages those trying to make a statement. You need a geography lesson on the location of Paradise. It's in Pennsylvania.

I don't know whether or not the person was inspired by the media it could be coincidence.

That person was a messed up guy so he could have done it without knowing or caring about the other shootings.

But then again as quoted in Network "You do what ever the tube tells you!"
