It can go either way. Some people's personality make it more difficutl to let go than others. Also, the first person with a new lover will forget faster. It's simply easier when you have some one else to think about.
Again, I've seen it go both ways. However, since it's easier for women to hook up with someone new, I would say women usually get over it faster.

It all depends on why they broke up. Neither one will forget but in my experience the woman will put the feelings to the side quicker than the man will.

they both do because there has been situation were the women forget faster and then in the other hand the men do so it goes both ways it all depends in the kind of person u were with.

It's usually the guy... the emotional attachment is the hardest part to get thru & because we're the more emotional ones, it's harder for us to get over the attachment than it is for them.
