its not a bad thing at all....i have known women to put on anything from 9kg to 25kg.......i put on 12kg with my first and 22kg with my 2nd.........as long as the baby is growing how much weight you put on is not important....keep in mind that the baby will always take from you what it needs so if there is not enough there for the both of you.....you will miss out......sounds like you eat well and exercise so i would say that you are doing great.....

I'm 35 weeks and I've gained 41 lbs so far. My neighbor gained 60. and my cousin has only gained 12. Each pregnancy is different as well as every woman is different. But the average is between 25 and 45 lbs depending on your size before pregnancy.

If you started out underweight, between 35 and 45 lbs.
If you started out normal weight (you are in this category!) between 25 and 35 lbs.
If you started out overweight, about 15 lbs.
Weight gain is variable among women and pregnancies. The "average" pregnant woman only gains a few lbs in her first trimester, gains most of her weight in the second and third trimesters, but levels off on the weight gain the last few weeks. So I would say that you're right on track, but if you have any concerns, ask you OB/GYN. She will know better since she sees you on a regular basis (hopefully).
Also, for those who are worried about gaining too much, remember, your weight gain is NOT just the baby. You gain a lot of water weight so you have enough blood to supply the baby (your blood supply increases by 50%!) Also, the placenta is a couple lbs, your breasts gain a couple lbs as they prepare to make milk, and your uterus itself is heavier since it expands to 60 times its original size.

With my son I started out at 100 lbs. and had him at 124lbs. and with this pregnancy I started out at 115 lbs. and I'm 31 weeks along and weigh 136 lbs. so far. Since you started out at a healthy weight you are only suppose to gain 25-35 lbs. With my son up until I was 21 weeks I had only gained 6 lbs. so don't worry as long as you doctor say's everything is going good with you and the baby.

Honey do not worry! You truly only need to gain between 15-25 pds. Some ladies gain much more than that but that is because they stuff their face. In a couple of months you will see a faster paced weight gain. My cousin was pregnant with twins and only gained 25 pds. She had two healthy babies at about 7 pds each. I only gained 18 pds and everything was ok. You have many months to go...CONGRATULATIONS

29 lb is the ordinary encouraged weight obtain for the duration of being pregnant. You are doing exceptional! Beyond the 25-35 lb that's encouraged (furnished you're no longer chubby to begin with), your weight obtain has little to do with little one's beginning weight. Besides, greater than eight lb, you're watching at a talents C-segment. I received a whole 50 lb. Towards the tip my OB prompt I diminish on delicate carbs like rice and candy culmination like grapes and melons. I had a 7 hour hard work and popped him out simply. My son used to be born 7 lb five ounces, very healthful. But 7 months after supply, I am chubby. I have misplaced 20 lb (I'm breastfeeding), nonetheless 30 to move. Looking ahead, I plan to obtain 30 lb for the moment little one. I suspect you obtained wiser after your fifty five lb obtain as good. 30 lb is exceptional, desire you are going to have a amazing supply and healthful little one.
