It's the idea of putting people out of their mysery when they are afflicted with a terminal illness. It's a very hot button topic. Some are totally for it ( I personally tend to MAYBE lean this way) and some believe it's just murder. ( I kinda belive that too.)
To put it very basically like when you put a pet "to sleep", it's like putting a human "to sleep".

Well, it's not a computer term. It's a fancy word for "mercy killing" taking someone's life to end their suffering. It's legal in some states when consent is given.

HUMANELY and PAINLESSLY putting to death ANY living creature in order for them NOT to suffer. If NOT done for these reasons....might it be murder....
