it involves a kid and aliens with underground tunnels... and i know this sounds wierd but he somehow saves the world or something by using a copper penny... or something very valuable that he hates to use to save the world but does... all i know! is that! when i was like 10 or so i saw it and it freaked me out because the aliens injected some HUGE needle into the back of this girls neck

I know that movie. the penny was to activate the alien weapon. The alien ship was behind his house, behind a hill. It was called either, " invaders from mars, or they came from mars."
