9/2X+18+3X=11/2

First, expess all terms as halves

9/2x + 36/2 + 6/2x = 11/2

Combine "x" terms

15/2x +36/2 = 11/2

Subtract 36/2 from both sides

15/2x = -25/2

Divide both sides by 15/2
x = (-25/2)/(15/2) = (-25/2)(2/15) = -25/15 = -5/3
