re: Bud Light commercial

I remember this one guy who I (and maybe the rest of the starbucks cafe customers) overheard at the bookstore. He was talking really loudly.. conversation went something like this:

Hello? Yes, this is john doe! I'm a champion bodybuilder. Perhaps you've heard about me? I appeared in several bodybuilding magazines, such as... You can check my website on blah blah blah...

I hate that. France has a more proactive attitude. Even on the subway they have signs reminding people not to be jerks on their cell phones, and by and large, no one in France is. At least in Paris.

Travelling on public transport you get a whole heap of morons like that. The teenage girls are the worst. They think every other person wants to hear all about thier love life or where they should go to catch up on what Billy said to Sally and whether they should go further than first base. AAAArgh! If i have to sit behind one more rude inconsiderate loud cell phone talker I will be tempted to quietly take a pair of scissors and snip thier hair off! This is my biggest pet peeve!

Ha LOL! I was sitting outside at Starbucks and a guy at the next table was fighting with his whoever who know who cares but it went something like this:

I told you I am not going! No! No!! No!!! You know I hate that place! I hate it! I hate it!! I will hate you if you keep saying that!!!

Then he stood up and threw the phone down and kicked it under a car and walked away! His face was beet red and he was ready to snap. I got to see all of this for the price of a coffee! That idiot was oblivious to the crowd that had gathered to watch his phone tantrum!

Yes! A lot of these kinds of folks really do love to here themselves talk. I think it's a form of "self-worship", perhaps? Seems everywhere I go, I see (hear) one! Nothing anyone can do will change their habit, unfortunately as they live to hear themselves, but, better yet too have others hear them.

I would have politely asked him to tone down his voice or asked him to take the call outside. If he refused, then beat the living crap out of him. LOL
