Well I personally wouldn't marry anyone in prison, I wouldn't wait for him..until he gets, out find someone you can date, go to the movies..not date someone you have to go visit, and write to...

No, I wouldn't. I had a boyfriend a few years ago that I loved very much. He was in prison. We had gone through almost all of the steps to get a marriage done....then I backed out.

If he loves you now, and wants to marry you......then he should love you enough to STILL want that, and even MORE SO when he comes home. It is only right. Plus if he loves you that much....he should want YOU to be happy....and be willing to wait so that he can help give you that special day.

Also, once married, you should be together. How sad and distressing it would be to get married (in there) and then you drive home alone....and he goes back to his cell that he shares with another man...instead of going home or on a honeymoon with is new bride.

Who cares what other people think. He may want the marriage to get the family (conjugal) visits. If so....let him wait. If you love him and plan on sticking around..."it" will still be there, waiting on him when he gets out.

Marriage is more than sex. It is a huge commitment. And it should be special. A man who loves and considers you would understand that.

Who cares what everyone else thinks! =)

I don't blame you at all. Besides the fact that there's nothing romantic about marrying a guy in prison, you might want to also wait and see if he can get his life back on track when he gets out.

I guess it depends on how long he's going to be in prison. If he's going to be there for maybe like a year, then go ahead and wait for him. A year isnt that long. But if its anything over 2 years, then try dating other people and then see where your heart is when he gtes out of jail.

They are probably just insecure, wait til they get out, you only get to get married to them once and you dont want the memories of your wedding to be of some prison. Its not like they are going anywhere,LOL

Marry him when an inmate comes home they tend to be very loyal to the woman that took car of them. my homeboy has been married to the woman that took care of him not counting the
years he was in prison for about 10 years now.
