save your money! Don't buy a used computer off of ebay or any other resale site.....
You can buy a new one with a warranty and another brand. They have had too many problems with the batteries in the thinkpads.....it has been all over the news.
Do some research first....figure out what you need and then make an informed choice. If you have a student ID you can sometimes get a discount.

for that price I guess its okay,... but I wouldn't buy that personally... its like a cheap old used car,... how reliable is that
